Between treated areas with an incline of more than 2% and surface water - except only occasionally but including periodically water-bearing surface water - there must be a border under complete plant cover. The border's protective function must not be impaired by the use of implements. It must be at least 20 m wide. This border is not necessary if: - sufficient catching systems are available for the water and soil transported by run-off, which do not flow into surface water or are not connected with the urban drainage system or - the product is used for mulch or direct drilling methods. |
